Multi-Sector Family Group 2026
Oom Carlo's Investments
A family-run Namibian group running transport, fleet, construction, property, security and consultancy under one accountable name since 2014.

Challenge
Six services, one family name, and a site that had to make the whole structure legible in a single visit.
Oom Carlo's Investments CC has kept southern Namibia moving since 2014. One family, six working directions, and clients spread between Oranjemund, Lüderitz, Keetmanshoop and Windhoek. The problem was presentation: six services read as six separate businesses, and buyers could not tell who was accountable for what.
The brief was one sentence: one family, six services, one standard. The site had to say it plainly, route each visitor to the service they came for, and keep the family accountability visible behind every page.
Approach
One standard, stated once, carried everywhere.
The homepage answers the routing question in the first screen. Six services, each with a one-line scope and its own page. A visitor looking for crew transport never has to read about property. The preview interaction shows what each service includes before the click, so nobody lands on a page they did not ask for.
The trust layer is the story itself. Founded by Kurt Sauerwein in 2014, grown from a single transport operation into a multi-disciplinary team, and invested in the towns it works in. That history is stated as fact on its own pages, not as decoration on the homepage.
Craft
Six services, one accountable roof
The positioning line does the structural work: most operations juggle three or four contractors. Oom Carlo's puts transport, construction, mechanical, property and security under one. The site says it once, plainly.
Service pages that preview before they commit
Tap, hover or focus a service to preview it. Each group opens its own page only when the visitor chooses to go deeper. The navigation teaches the structure instead of hiding it.
We invest where we work
The community page documents presence in the southern corridor towns the company actually serves. Specific places, not generic regional claims.
Outcome
A family group site that reads as one team, not six vendors sharing a logo.
Oom Carlo's Investments launched with a site where the six directions are legible in one screen and the family standard sits behind all of them. Buyers route themselves. The accountability argument is made by structure, not adjectives.
The lesson: a multi-service business does not need a bigger homepage. It needs a clearer one. Six honest entry points beat one crowded overview.
