Prototype the hard part first
The statement-to-evidence extraction was proven in a working slice before the product committed. The interface was never the risk; the evidence was.

The studio's inhouse cash-flow underwriting product for Namibian microlenders and retailers: a borrower-authorised bank statement becomes structured evidence.

Across Namibia, freelancers, contractors, traders, transport operators and shop owners earn consistently without ever receiving a fixed salary deposit. Salary-only underwriting reads them as blank pages and declines them, not because they are unreliable but because the evidence format does not recognise them. Their bank statements tell a different story; microlenders and retailers have no tool that reads it.
Hola Credit is the studio's own answer, built inhouse on the prototype-first pattern the practice runs: test the hard technical assumption in a working slice before committing to the full build. The hard part was never the interface. It was turning a real bank statement into structured, checkable evidence that a credit desk can read, question and stand behind, without the system ever making the decision for them.
The product converts a borrower-authorised bank statement into structured cash-flow evidence: an income floor, consistency, volatility and red flags, in plain language, for the desk that has to decide. From statement to signal in four steps, no black box: every step leaves an auditable trace, and every assessment can be walked back to the transactions behind it.
The decision stays where it belongs. Hola Credit is explainable by design and its extraction is checkable by design; it produces evidence a lender can interrogate, not a score a lender must obey. The public site carries the product story the same way: what it does, the four steps, a working demo, and a waitlist for lenders and retailers who want it in their decision flow.
The statement-to-evidence extraction was proven in a working slice before the product committed. The interface was never the risk; the evidence was.
Income floor, consistency, volatility and red flags, each one traceable back to the transactions behind it. The desk reads the evidence; the tool does not decide.
The product exists for the earners salary-only underwriting cannot see. A bank statement is a story; Hola Credit makes it legible to the desk that has to trust it.
Hola Credit is live and public at hola.tangison.com, the studio's active inhouse product: prototype proven, product shipped, demo and waitlist open. It runs on the same domain the studio publishes its own work on, which is the point: the studio eats its own cooking, in the open.
The build validates the prototype-first rule the practice sells to clients. The risky assumption was tested in a working slice before the product committed, and the shipped product keeps the auditable trace that prototype proved out.
